Heritage Bagan Hotel – the perfect base to explore the pagodas!

During our days in Bagan we had the pleasure to stay in the „Heritage Bagan Hotel“. It was the perfect base for us to explore the countless Pagodas. The temperatures in Bagan get quite high, so this is how we structured our day:

• 

1 Start early for sunrise! Grab your e-scooter and go to one of the pagodas and watch the Ballons.

2. Around 9 am it gets really warm and we got really hungry, so we returned to the hotel to enjoy the great breakfast buffet at „Bagan Heritage“. It’s open until 10 am, so we had plenty of time.

3. Spend the day relaxing at the pool. Get a massage in the beautiful spa or work out in the gym and enjoy lunch in the nice restaurant!

4. Around 4 pm grab the scooter again and explore pagodas for sunrise and sunset. Don’t forget to pin their location.

5. Enjoy the golden hour and sunset at one of the beautiful pagodas you found!

6. Have dinner in the hotel or at one of the amazing restaurants in Bagan!

Good to know:

E-Scooters need to be recharged! It was really convenient to rent the scooter directly at the reception and keep it until sunset! Picking it up at 4:30 am was no problem since there is a 24h reception!

We can highly recommend to choose a hotel with a good restaurant and nice facilities for your stay in Bagan, since there are a couple of hours every day that you don’t really want to spend out in the sun! Keep in mind that it might be easier to rent an E-Scooter at the hotel.
